Cherry Blossom Festival is annual spring celebration that held in Washington, D.C. to
enhance the growth friendship between Japan and the United States. This
festival commemorate gift of Mayor Yukio Ozaki, a Japanese cherry trees, on
March 27, 1912. It’s symbolized as an effort to continue close relationship
between the two nations. In this festival, all events are free and open to the
public. The festival also held in another place over the world. This event is

The Cherryblossom festivals usually held for two-week. This festival begins with a
Family Day on the last Saturday of March. The official opening ceremony held in
the National Building Museum. In this festival, you can join a tour of the
Tidal Basin by bike every day, join classes about sake or sushi celebration and
celebrate cherry blossoms. Many art performance and cultural events takes place
on the following days. During the first weekend festival, there are not only
